[Look & Listen] Gary Clark Jr. Reveals Cover Art for Debut Album

[Sounds Like: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Sheepdogs]

One of my favorite rockers, Gary Clark Jr., revealed the album cover (shown below - click to enlarge) for his upcoming debut full-length album this afternoon. I opened up the email carrying the news and thought one thing: Hendrix. Although the album's title and track list are still unannounced, we're catching major Jimi vibes. His music alone is fairly reminiscent of the rock & roll legend, leaving us in full anticipation for his first full-length effort that's set to debut on October 23rd via Warner Bros. Records.

Your guess is as good as ours as to which songs will show up on Clark's debut album, but that's not to say we're gonna try and predict a few. You'll certainly see his recent hit, "Bright Lights," as one of the staples of the project, but as for the others, we're hoping to see "When My Train Pulls In" and "You Love Me Like You Say." Regardless of what ends up on the untitled album, though, be prepared to hear Hendrix in a new, soulful form.
