[Download & Watch] (Personally) The Most Anticipated Film of The Year [UPDATE]

UPDATE: We're sharing an exclusive deal of 25% off when purchasing the physical, just click the picture below.

It's a year old, but RAC's remix of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zero's Janglin caught my ear this morning for the first time. As per usual, RAC uses their wide arsenal of musically-altering-but-not-overwhelmingly-so talents to slightly transform a song from great to greater. This track, despite how well executed it may be, is not the focus of this post, however. It's merely the catalyst. The real focus is on Emmett Malloy and his film, "Big Easy Express." Follow the jump after the remix below to learn more about the (personally) most anticipated film of the year...

Janglin (RAC Mix) - Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

Beat Dropping doesn't normally (actually this is the second time ever) cover movies, but in this case, regarding the subject matter, we're making an exception. "Big Easy Express" follows three bands through 6 cities on 1 very old train. Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Mumford & Sons, and Old Crow Medicine Show are captured on film as they light up city after city - a Railroad Revival Tour - sharing stories and intimate moments along the way. It may not sound like much to the average person, but any music fan remotely interested in the three bands featured should and will be utterly infatuated with Malloy's beautiful film. The DVD/Blu-Ray combo debuts on July 24th, but if you don't want to wait, you can already buy "Big Easy Express" in HD on iTunes. I'm a creature who collects; I'm holding out until I can hold it in my hands.
