[Download & Anticipate] Will Overman's "Ashes"

[Sounds like: Joe Pug, Mumford & Sons, Sean Hayes]

I don't know how we did it, but Tommy and I somehow managed to overlook one of Will Overman's songs when we first featured him. It's been a while, so for those of you who aren't familiar with this young talent's work, here's the skinny: He's a recent high school graduate with one of the most pure and raw voices that I can think of. That being said, this Virginia Beach native has yet to garner the attention he deserves. It's my prediction (and hope) that this won't be the case for long, however. I honestly don't see how it couldn't be. In my opinion, Will embodies the folk and singer/songwriter genres - getting recognized and blowing up only seems natural. Tommy interviewed Will a while back (which can be found here) and also debuted his first two singles. Somehow his song, Ashes, however, slipped through the cracks in that process.

That is until about 10 minutes ago when I was stalking his YouTube channel. We've been in contact with Will on and off since the interview and we're beyond thrilled to announce that he has begun to write more songs. His new stuff can be found on the channel, but we're gonna hold out on featuring the new goods until he can manage to jump back into the recording studio. So for now, listen and download Ashes below, and then sit back and grow antsy for a Will Overman project to debut in the near future. Oh and did I say this guy is just now graduating high school? And I'm sitting here on a damn computer...
