I was killing some time the other day with my iTunes running on shuffle when this next track came up. It was one of those “lost treasures” that happened to be perfect for the rainy day that it was. You all may remember that popular and practically viral dance video from the movie Napoleon Dynamite…well, Jamiroquai, whose song “Canned Heat” is the song for that particular dance, turns out to be pretty damn good and has produced many great songs with a very unique sound full of soulful, electronic funk with accents of anything from horns to a didgeridoo.

This London-based band has been around since 1992 and after their success from the “Rock Dust Light Star” tour just last year; this six-man crew doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. I decided to give y’all a wide spectrum of Jamiroquai’s music raging from their debut single from 1992, When You Gonna Learn? along with their biggest hit, Virtual Insanity from 1996, and topping it off with a later single from 2005. Be on the lookout for this group of guys who really have found a special sound that has changed through the years and will hopefully continue to do so. Enjoy
