Stand Alone With Theophilus London

Theophilus London has been catching my attention lately mainly because he puzzles me. I mean this in the best way, however, as the guy draws from so many different influences that his music seems to bounce from genre to genre all within the same track. It's not messy nor mash-up similar, but rather a blend of culture and style. The track featured in this post, "I Stand Alone," is London's apparent favorite on his upcoming album "Timez Are Weird These Days." Give it a listen and you'll start loving it too - new wave sounds, hip-hop, and as Pigeons & Planes puts it: a possible channeling of The Police? There's a lot to love in this track, but unfortunately there's no download link for this one. I definitely recommend purchasing the song, however, as well as the full album when it debuts on July 19th on iTunes (you can go ahead and pre-order if you're feeling trigger happy). In the mean time, you can keep listening right here, enjoy.
