Introducing Country Glitching

Pretty Lights just dropped this remix featuring John Denver's "Country Roads" and has possibly opened a door for the dubstep community - what I'm choosing to call as Country Glitching. This is definitely one of the most unique tracks of the summer, and possibly the year, as I have never laid ears on these two genres within the same song. Who else would be better to test the limits than Pretty Lights? Their recent music has been on fire, and they're notorious for creating unique tracks capable of dropping jaws. This song, in my opinion, is incredibly refreshing. Dubstep has a pretty limiting, although highly addicitve, sound. With songs like this one, however, there's hope that more and more glitch artists will continue to push limits and expand that limited sound.

Even if you're not a fan of dubstep, definitely take a listen. Pretty Lights keeps the track's bass at bay and does a great job of maintaining the sounds of Denver's voice and guitar. This isn't just a great track, it's the beginning of a dubstep revolution: Country Glitching. Enjoy
