The Dirty Guv'nahs

Besides having one of the best band names in music, The Dirty Guv'nahs also deliver some of the best songs. Some of you may disagree, but that's only because you have bad taste in music. These guys are from Knoxville, Tennessee and have only been playing together since 2006. The best thing about these six gentleman, however, is that they're following in Joe Pug's footsteps, and are sharing their music for free. Most notably, is their album, "Youth Is In Our Blood." Basically, this album is "a hot, roiling stew of gritty, soul-influenced rock ‘n’ roll, mixed with a hefty helping of roots, funk, blues and country." What's better than roiling stew hand-delivered by the Guv'nahs themselves? Not much at all. Visit NoiseTrade if you like their music and you can download the whole album as well as donate any amount you feel appropriate. Even if you don't like their sound, you should still visit their merchandise page, because who wouldn't want a shirt with Dirty Guv'nahs written on it?
