Caleb Hawley and Rachel Platten

I helped out at the Tosco Music Party's Beatles Tribute Show last night and was fortunate enough to watch two great artists from back stage: Caleb Hawley and Rachel Platten. Hawley, pictured above, hails from Brooklyn, New York and, in my opinion, has one of the coolest voices around. He payed tribute last night by covering "We Can Work It Out," and did so with his own unique style, blowing away the audience. Check out his website to hear more of his music. Platten, from New York as well, is hard to explain with few words. She's "beautiful, but not brazen. Passionate, but never preachy. Populist, but definitely not prosaic. Singer-songwriter, pianist, and beat-boxer, Platten is by no means your average headliner-in-the-making." However, the preceding combination makes for some great music. Read more about her on her website and help support her music.
